Candle Heater Goes "Multi-Fuel"

Kandle Heeter tm Candle Holder with Electric Candle

The Kandle Heeter tm Candle Holder is in its third year as a cottage industry alternative energy device -- and now it is not just for candles anymore. DOSS Products has invented an "electric candle" exclusively for use in the unique candle heater. The electric candle is based on a 60 watt PAR Narrow Beam Quartz Halogen Lamp, 90% of the energy is captured as heat and only 10% "wasted" as light. This is a whole new way to look at the much maligned incandescent light bulb!

For those who don't know, the Kandle Heeter tm Candle Holder is a multi-core steel and ceramic radiator assembly suspended above a candle flame. The radiator assembly captures and concentrates the heat of the flame and becomes a dry radiant heat source for home or office. If you like to burn candles the candle heater is pretty much a "no-brainer" -- why allow all that heat to go to the ceiling when you can add it to your space heating needs? If you are off the grid, have a small back room, or in a RV every little bit of heat counts and a well insulated small space definitely benefits. www.heatstick.com for more information

The new "electric twist" to the candle heater now makes it as safe as any electric lamp. The 60 watt Quartz Halogen lamp is mounted on a ceramic lamp holder with an 8 ft cord and in-line switch. It goes under the radiator assembly just like the traditional jar candle and takes its place. Plug it in, turn it on, and get a constant source of dry radiant space heat. 60 watts is not a lot of electricity, yet it provides a surprising amount of heat since 90% of the energy going into an incandescent bulb is normally "wasted" as heat.

The surface temperature of the Quartz Halogen lamp has been measured at over 700 degrees Fahrenheit -- this is about 100 degrees hotter than a typical yellow candle flame and runs the temperature of the radiator assembly about 10-15 degrees warmer than a candle (180-200 degrees).

Excellent as a night light in a bedroom -- now get light and heat from the same source. Perfect on a timer when away for the weekend, puts light and heat into your home while you are away. It may be all you need in a small bedroom or office. Very useful to putting just a little heat into a room to hold down moisture related problems.

The candle heater and the electric candle are available from DOSS Problems at www.heatstick.com. The traditionalist may still purchase just a Kandle Heeter tm Candle Holder for $29.95 or get both for $49.95 (the $10 Quartz Halogen Lamp is included). There is a bountiful amount of information on the website, plus contact info at the bottom of the main page if you have any specific questions.
